About Me
Welcome to my website!
I’m Karina. I’m a professional hypnotherapist and a yoga teacher based in London. I specialize in a form of hypnotherapy that helps people to overcome their mental blocks and unleash their potential.
My journey into the world of therapy began many years ago with a masters degree in clinical psychology. After several years of working in the field of psychology I became fascinated with the teachings of yoga. The immediate positive effects of breath work, asana practice, relaxation and mindfulness inspired me to become a yoga teacher. I then devoted the following 20 years to spreading the word of yoga and expanding my knowledge by studying other forms of therapy, including Art, Meditation, Dance and Massage therapy.

Nurturing and motivating people has been very rewarding, however I wanted to do more. From my own experience and from talking with my students, I could see that when their stress levels rise and personal circumstances change, yoga can offer temporary relief, but a deeper therapy is often needed to overcome the difficulties. I already knew that the self-hypnosis which I use in my yoga classes, has a profound effect on the human psyche and is one of the most healing aspects of the practice. Hence my interest in both psychology and hypnosis, led me to discover the field of Professional Hypnotherapy, which is a powerful therapy that brings the two disciplines together.
The training I received under the tutorage of the renowned hypnotherapist Andrew Parr, equipped me with the skills and advanced techniques from the solution focused, analytical and cognitive schools of hypnotherapy. This enables me to treat each client and their issue in a unique way, specifically tailored to their needs.
I believe each of my clients is unique and holds within them a deep, amazing inner wisdom, power and resilience. That’s where I look for answers as I guide them through the healing process.
Outside the therapy room I love spending time with my beautiful family. I’m a wife. I’m a mum to two fantastic boys. I’m a traveler, an art lover, and a tango dancer. I find inspiration in meeting people and bringing them together through yoga, dance, art and other creative forms. I relax best on long walks in nature with my family and on the dance floor. I love nature in all its seasons. I believe “The world is your oyster”. I love exploring, learning and creating. For me life is about finding balance between being calm, meditative and gentle on one hand and adventurous, curious and active on the other. This makes life a most fascinating journey.
